Burt’s Bees is a brand that has been around for a long time. We all know the name and brand recognition provides an added trust factor. 

The Burt’s Bees Baby heather gray striped hoodie and cozy baby booties were two of our favorites during night time cuddles.

Pros:

1. Most well known brand and is available in some stores.
2. Large variety of styles and colors.
3. Super soft and cozy.
4. Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certified.
5. Next day delivery available on most products with Amazon Prime.

Cons: 

1. Some items are more definitely more expensive than other brands.
2. Marketing costs are probably passed on to the customer because of brand recognition.

Touched By Nature Organic Baby Clothing

We have purchased a lot of items from Touched By Nature’s online Amazon shop. I love that they offer so many different styles and prints. 

I did notice in some of the reviews for a holiday dress I liked that the colors bled into the fabric. 

Personally, I haven’t had an issue but I always wash new colored clothing inside out and in cold water. Using warm water may encourage bleeding.

Shout Color Catcher washer sheets have been wonderful for assisting with absorbing dye in wash water – 10/10, highly recommend. 

I loved the minimalistic feel of this holiday dress. It washed beautifully with no issues whatsoever.

Pros:

Cons:

O2 Baby has a variety of options for babies under 1 year ranging from onesies, comfy pants, sleeper gowns, and rompers. 

I had purchased the floral romper shown above and the onesie shown below. They were made out of the softest, coziest material. 

Pros:

1. Their onesies have zipper closures which make clothing changes simple and quick no matter what time of day or night it is. 
2. Material is soft and washes very well. 
3. Available for next day delivery with Amazon Prime.
4. Affordable organic baby clothes at a reasonable price.

Cons:

1. Doesn’t come in too many color/print options and some variations may be out of stock.
2. Does not list out which heavy metals, toxins, and chemicals are not used in manufacturing.

What We Ultimately Think:

If you do laundry on a regular basis, you only really need a handful of onesies and not much else for the first 3 months. 

Depending on the weather, this makes wardrobe requirements very simple and affordable.

Because of this, I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase a better quality material for a few more dollars.
