Turkey Meatloaf with Ketchup Brown Sugar Glaze
This glaze is just ketchup, brown sugar, and Worcestershire. It bakes into that sticky top everyone wants on meatloaf.
If you’re looking for turkey meatloaf with a ketchup brown sugar glaze, this is that version – just made on a sheet pan so it doesn’t dry out.
Ingredients You’ll Be Using:
Ground turkey (93% lean): Lean enough not to be heavy, but still has enough fat to stay moist.
Crushed Ritz crackers: Keep the texture soft. Breadcrumbs work, but crackers give better flavor and structure.
Eggs: Hold everything together so it doesn’t fall apart when slicing.
Milk: Soaks into the crackers to keep the meatloaf tender.
Onion + garlic: I run the onion through my mini food processor and pulse until it is very fine. This makes it undetectable to picky eaters but still allows the flavor to come through.
Salt + pepper: Basic seasoning
Worcestershire sauce: Gives it that classic meatloaf flavor you expect.
Ketchup (in the meat + glaze): Adds moisture and balances everything with a little sweetness.
Olive oil: Helps keep the meat from drying out in the oven.
